AES / SED Filing

AES, or more formally known as the Automated Export System, has replaced SED, Shipper's Export Declaration. AES is a mandatory electronic database that provides filing to the U.S. Census Bureau. The database contains export shipment information and is designed to enhance and improve the effectiveness of the overall filing system. AES is always accessible no matter you location or time zone. The electronic database can be used for a wide variety of transportation methods.
